
Honors Program
Eligibility:
- Students must qualify for admission, be admitted into, and participate in one of the three University-wide honors programs (University Honors Program, Computer-Based Honors Program, or the International Honors Program) in order to participate in the Computer Science Departmental Honors Program.
- Continued participation requires that the student remain in good-standing in the University-wide honors program.
Requirements for the Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors in Computer Science:
- Completion of the course requirements for the BS degree in Computer Science.
- Maintenance of a 3.30 GPA in all Computer Science courses, as well as a 3.3 overall GPA in all undergraduate coursework.
- Enrollment in, and completion of, the honors sections of CS 114 and CS 124.
- Successful completion of least one 400-level Computer Science course using "honors-by-contract".
- Completion of all requirements associated with the appropriate University-wide honors program as outlined in the Undergraduate Catalog.
