For some students, it is the thrill of learning a new culture. For others, it is the benefit of furthering one’s education. Either way, students in the College of Engineering are pushing boundaries by exploring cultural and academic opportunities found only through international study.
By studying abroad, students immerse themselves in other cultures so as to experience the destination in a way that is beyond the average tourist experience. No matter why they chose to study abroad, travel-savvy students are reaping the benefits of supplementing a top-notch education with international experiences.

Spain Summer Overseas Study
Society, Technology and the Environment - May 21-June 26, 2010
The College of Engineering, in collaboration with the Pamplona Learning Spanish Institute, will offer an inaugural
program that is designed to meet the needs of engineering students. This program gives the students the opportunity to study
general Spanish and Spanish for Engineering, as well as an engineering course. Prior knowledge of the Spanish language is not required.

Dublin Summer Internship
June 6-July 24, 2010

program in Dublin, Ireland. The program can accommodate most majors with placements across greater
